The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Osaka welcomes the inauguration of the new direct flight between Bangkok and Osaka, operated by Thai Vietjet, starting from 3 February 2026. This new service further strengthens air connectivity between Thailand and Japan, reflecting the close and enduring partnership between our two countries.

With this addition, direct flights between Thailand and Osaka have fully rebounded to pre-pandemic levels, enhancing links between Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Kansai International Airport as key regional hubs. The Consulate expresses its sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Kansai Airports, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand for their valuable cooperation, and looks forward to continued collaboration as Thailand and Japan approach the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations next year.
