Effective from 31 August 2026, applicants for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) must submit the following additional supporting documents:
1. Proof of permanent residence in the country/territory where the visa application is submitted; and
2. Certificate of criminal record clearance issued by the country/territory of the applicant’s nationality or permanent residence.

These documents must be submitted in addition to the existing supporting documents for DTV applications.

Applications submitted before 31 August 2026 will be considered in accordance with the supporting document requirements applicable prior to the effective date of this announcement.
